Ross Dickens – Managing Director
Ross is the fourth generation of the Dickens family to take the helm, Ross graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying. During his year out he worked as a trainee quantity surveyor for Wates Construction in Manchester and was offered a permanent position upon graduating where he remained before joining the family business in 2004.
Ross is Chairman of the Northwest National Federation of Builders, President of the local Fylde Coast National Federation of Builders, Director of the Preston Construction Safety Association.
Ross is also involved with his local rugby club TCRUFC. Although no longer playing he does like to get in a couple of ski trips a year.
Mark Harris – Contracts Manager
Mark has been with Clement Dickens for almost his entire 30+ year career in the construction industry and has worked his way up from working as a joiner to Construction Director in 2016. Mark is a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and is an avid supporter of Leeds United
Neil Clarke – Buyer
Neil has worked in the Construction industry for almost 40 years and has been Clement Dickens Buyer for 10 of them. Neil has built strong relationships with all major material merchants and works closely with our project managers to ensure that the most appropriate, on schedule materials are provided.
When Neil’s not providing materials for the site he is a valued member of his Irish band, Black Velvet.
Colin Dallinson – Senior Quantity Surveyor
The newest member to the Surveying team, Colinjoined Clement Dickens in 2016 and is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He deals with projects from pre-construction to post-completion whilst managing the costs to ensure client expectations are achieved.
Colin enjoys spending time with his son and playing the odd game of 5 a side football.
Alan Jackson – Estimator
Alan has been estimating since joining Clement Dickens in 2014. Alan is responsible for pricing tender packages and submitting tenders efficiently, comprehensively and competitively. In Alan’s spare time heenjoys cycling, glamping and train spotting
Jane Clarke – Finance Manager
Jane is new to the team having recently joined from Professional Accountancy Practice and is now responsible for all Clement Dickens financial matters. Jane can often be found in the casinos of Vegas or with her head in good thriller!
Barbara Carr – Office Manager
Barbara has been with the Clement Dickens since 1992 starting out as a receptionist and is now office manager. She is responsible for company accounts and heads up the administration team, taking charge of the day-to-day running of our Fylde Coast headquarters.
